I see, December will be the month of movies competing for best VFX as Universal releases a brand new trailer for Mortal Engines.
After getting two exciting brand new trailer for The Bumblebee Movie and Warner Bros Lego Movie 2, Universal as gifted us another one as Peter Jackson’s (Lord of the Rings and Hobbits Trilogy) produced Sci-Fi movie Mortal Engines gets a new trailer and from the footage, it very exciting.
The movie which is an adaptation of the book of the same name will see us go into a distant future where civilization was destroyed by a cataclysmic event, humankind has adapted and a new way of living has evolved. Gigantic moving cities now roam the Earth, ruthlessly preying upon smaller traction towns. Tom Natsworthy (Robert Sheehan)—who hails from a Lower Tier of the great traction city of London—finds himself fighting for his own survival after he encounters the dangerous fugitive Hester Shaw (Hera Hilmar). Two opposites, whose paths should never have crossed, forge an unlikely alliance that is destined to change the course of the future.
The movie will be directed by Oscar-winning visual-effects artist Christian Rivers (King Kong) and produced by Peter Jackson.
The movie opens December 14, 2018. It will be exciting to see how it does against the likes of Bumblebee, Aquaman and the likes as December is looking to be the busiest month this year.
